Having been on the other side when my children were young, I understand the difficulties and challenges of locating a childcare program that meets your expectations and allows you peace of mind when you're away from your child. Tender Moments Play House & Preschool offers two licensed homes that provide developmentally appropriate activities by nurturing staff in environments that foster learning both academic skills and social skills. Our programs are nationally accredited by NAFCC and at the highest rating levels with Indiana's Paths To Quality program.

Our Environment
From A Child's view
We provide our children with a safe and nurturing environment where our children are anxious to explore and learn about themselves and the world around them. Children have a large variety of natural materials that encourage creative & imaginative play. Children are given opportunities that encourage choices and independence. We strive to create relationships that foster trust, communication, belonging and respect.

We believe that children and parents are to be respected and treated with courtesy, dignity, patience and compassion. Our staff regards early childhood experiences with the respect and commitment they deserve and share this attitude with parents. Parents are a valued part of our Tender Moments Family to ensure that we not only meet the needs of the child, but allow parents to be able to work without concern for their child. There are many opportunities for communication to enforce the communication between parents and staff. Newsletters, conferences, family events and daily interactions are provided to keep parents aware of their child's child care experience.
Emergent Curriculum

Tender Moments recognizes that children learn best when they are actively exploring and engaged in their environments. Our emergent learning curriculum follows the Indiana Dept. of Education's foundations for young children that support hands-on learning.
